Here is our newly updated travel plan for the summer, fall, and winter. We plan to leave our Winter Texan home on April 1st and head northwest with a few stops in Texas (April) before reaching New Mexico where we stay in several locations during the month of May.
Then it is on to Colorado where we stay the month of June at a few different places. After Colorado we continue northward to Wyoming for July and most of August and quite a few destinations before we turn the rig around and begin our long trek back east starting with South Dakota.
After a couple of weeks in S.D., we continue eastward through several states reaching Indiana to spend some time with family. Next up it is more family visits in Virginia and D.C.
After these stops we slowly meander south to our Florida winter destinations stopping in Charleston, Savannah, and many other locations.
We like to travel slowly, 150 miles at the most in a day and then stay at each location for a week. Although, sometimes we have to deviate a bit.
