This is the last part of our quick 3-day bus trip from our RV resort to Key West and then back home again. Two bus loads of happy seniors made this 870 mile round trip excursion. Key West Birthday – Day 2
In my prior post, we loaded a large group of 100 people at our RV park into large buses and took off for a three day trip to the Everglades and Key West. The 463 mile trip was divided over the three days. They were long days on the buses, but we did enjoy the stops and of course Key West.
Key West, Florida – Last Day in the Southernmost City
All vacations have to end I suppose. So it is with us as a retired full time RVers. We left the RV all alone in Cocoa Florida for 10 days as we embarked on our Caribbean cruise and then a 3-hour drive to Key West, Florida. This is our last day in the southernmost city and I’ve tried to capture a few images to remember this truly unique city.

Key West, Florida – A Surprise Visit!
I had planned our 7-day Caribbean cruise several months ago and ended up taking the ship out of Miami instead of the local port here at Port Canaveral. The reason was a good deal through our agent Mindy, plus a chance to cruise on the mega ship, Oasis. Well, we were already halfway to Key West, Florida so it was just too tempting not to add a little three day surprise visit!
