Back before the virus, we had a one day visit to the Magic Kingdom. This was in the last week of February, before things got crazy. The Disney park was packed with people as it was spring break. A week or two later, I wonder if we could have been exposed, but we are now three weeks later without symptoms, so guess we dodged a bullet. To help get your mind off the latest news, here is a virtual day at the Magic Kingdom!
Some Strange Times – Day 9
The news items seem to have major changes and new updates everyday. Our society is on hold for now. I wish I knew for how long. We are in some strange times. In the meantime, we are staying in (or around our site), and staying put in our remote area of south Florida – day 9 so far. With all of the near panic driven news, I thought it would be nice to post a peaceful blog update from our February visit to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. But then, I thought that might look a little weird with us out and about in huge crowded spaces. So, instead I have reverted to some thoughts and a walking tour through our RV park in pictures.
Going Stir Crazy – Day 7 of House Arrest
No, I am not wearing a Martha Stewart ankle monitor. But it feels like it. Pat and I have decided to lay very low to avoid the virus. We are both in good health, without any real underlying health issues. I would advise everyone to do the same. Just stay in the house, the patio, and go for walks in the neighborhood. Many walks…
Staying In – Day 5 of Coronavirus Crisis
This is the 5th day that we have mostly stayed within our small footprint at our RV site within Pioneer Creek RV Resort. There is still much activity going on at this park. Daily meetings, horseshoes, shuffleboard, wood shop and many more. My day yesterday was a quick, very early trip to Walmart and then some chores around here, with a hike thrown in for exercise!
Life On Hold – Happy Friday 13th!
The worldwide China Virus pandemic is certainly the top news story of the last few days. The news keeps getting exponentially worse. I almost do not want to watch the news, but I do. Kind of like watching a train wreck. Speaking of train wrecks, the stock market has spiralled to a completely panicked state with several days of record drops in Dow. Some crazy times!
