We usually like to stay a week in each area to fully explore, have a couple of down days, and to take advantage of the weekly rates. A Dallas Texas Thanksgiving
We just finished a wonderful Thanksgiving week with family in the Dallas Texas area. We finally make it to Texas after a long driving year from Florida all the way up to Maine and then back to the southwest. Texas will be our winter home for the next four months. Four locations for about a week each and then down near the Mexico border for three months at one place. That will be our longest stay in one place since going full-time RVing! Natchitoches – Louisiana’s Oldest Town

Abbeville Louisiana; Betty’s RV Park 2018 Year 2

They have festivals going on every few days. We went to two festivals over the first weekend after arriving, including the world famous Omelette Festival. We have been so busy having fun that I may need a few days to just rest up! Continue reading “Abbeville Louisiana; Betty’s RV Park 2018 Year 2”

Our travel is all about experiencing the journey as we don’t have an end date at this time. It just so happened to be on our route to Texas this year and the city has been on our list of destinations from the beginning. Our first time here!
