We have been slowly debating the pros and cons of where to travel to this year. So many places we want to see and so many things to do. Our original plan was to see most of the country in three years and then find a location to finally settle down. It has now become obvious that our country is so large that our plan will probably need to be extended, God willing. Continue reading “2018 Spring and Summer Travel Plans”
Orchid Lake RV Resort Week #3
Camp Reservations, Truck Upgrades, The Blue Parrot, Parade & Day Trip
This last week was filled with us planning our spring and summer travels, researching routes and campgrounds, and then finally calling the parks to make reservations. We have found this part to be quite tedious and time consuming. But necessary to be get into the area and into the RV parks that we want. Two Weeks at Orchid Lake RV Resort & Tarpon Springs Trip

A few times we have ventured out into the real world and one of those ventures was to a small Greek village of Tarpon Springs. Space Coast of Florida – Wrap Up

We stayed in the area for almost two months before moving over to the west coast of Florida and were able to see many sights, but not as much as we wanted. So, it will require another visit at some future date. Continue reading “Space Coast of Florida – Wrap Up”
Coast to Coast Travel in 3.5 Hours!
No, it was not on a supersonic jet! On this last Thursday, Feb 1st, we made the 3.5 hour trip westbound from Cocoa, Florida to the area just north of Tampa, Florida. The coast to coast drive was about 150 miles, leaving the JOY park at 9:30 am and making our goodbyes. We made just one rest stop arriving at the new campground at 1:00 pm and ready to eat lunch!
